Spent nearly an hour (roughly noon to 1:00) along the little strip of parkland and cemetery as well as the bike path north of Dumbarton Bridge (Q Street).

Although it was quiet at midday, I was rewarded with a Scarlet Tanager, Rose-breasted Grosbeak and Red-bellied Woodpecker in the same field of view near the pedestrian bridge below 27th Street NW.  All this while searching for a singing Baltimore Oriole that I never located.

Other birds included Yellow-rumped Warbler, American Redstart, House Wren, Great Crested Flycatcher, an American Robin pursuing a Blue Jay, and the usual Crows, Grackles, Starlings and House Sparrows.
