Off topic, but I think some of you will enjoy the videos I made this
morning of 4 fox kits playing with their mom in Cloverly, MD. I used a
Nikon Coolpix L6 pocket camera clamped to my Swarosvki AT80 with a
universal adapter I got from Eagle Optics (there are often hawks and
other interesting birds in this field, although I will admit that I went
to see the foxes after Laura spotted them on her way out this morning
and called me, so I wasn't really birding).

If anyone has recommendations for reducing the camera shake at the start
of the videos short of buying a new camera with a remote trigger I would
appreciate it. I have solved the problem of the constant refocus
attempts that adds some jitter to the background and provides the
drumbeat background sound as the camera's focus motor kept trying to
readjust to get the entire field in focus so future videos should be better.

Since it is off topic, please reply directly off list with any comments.
