Hi Everyone,

Recent reports from the area prompted me to spend yesterday afternoon hiking around Fran Uhler Natural Area in Prince George's County. I had 13 species of warbler, including BLUE-WINGED, MAGNOLIA, and NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, as well as close-up views of SWAINSON'S THRUSH and VEERY.

Black Vulture--1
WILD TURKEY--1; called across the river in AA Co.
Red-shouldered Hawk--1; began calling in response to the Barred Owls
Mourning Dove--1
Yellow-billed Cuckoo--1
Barred Owl--6; group of three, another two, and then a single bird; a seventh across the river in AA Co.
Chimney Swift--1
Ruby-throated Hummingbird--1
Red-bellied Woodpecker--4
Downy Woodpecker--1
Hairy Woodpecker--4
Pileated Woodpecker--2; one calling, another flew in to investigate my pishing
