Hello all -
I took a ramble down Greenfield Road, which parallels the Monocacy River, this morning. Nesting activity everywhere - I saw Acadian Flycatcher, a pair of Louisiana Waterthrush, and a pair of Cedar Waxwings all gathering nesting materials.
Other highlights - a Baltimore Oriole harassing a Red-tailed Hawk
Warbling, Red-eyed, White-eyed, Yellow-throated Vireos
Resident Worm-eating Warbler, N. Parula, Ovenbird
Migrating Blackpoll Warbler and Northern Waterthrush
Field, Chipping, Song Sparrows
Baltimore and Orchard Orioles
Scarlet Tanager
Wood Thrush
Indigo Bunting
Great Crested Flycatcher
E. Wood-Pewee
A wonderful morning to be out in the field!
