I looked up from the newspaper (yes, they still publish newspapers) on the MARC Brunswick line train as we cruised near the bridge over the Monocacy River this morning to see a Tom in full display mode in the field north of the C & O canal.  I can't remember ever having seen that before...!!!  Anyway, it was a nice treat on a workday and i wondered if it was a little late in the season for such a thing to happen?
