From the field. Perhaps of interest to county listers (my 6th), I just had 4 (new personal high count) Black-necked Stilts, just S of Snow Hill. Although the birds are on private land, than can been seen from Rt. 12. Go 0.6 miles south on 12 from the 12 x 113 intersection. To the N (right) is a large man-made wetland. You can stand on the berm of the corn field, and the stilts were working the area between(and in front of) the two duck blinds. Also 60 Black-bellied Plovers, 8 Ruddy Turnstones, 3 Dunlin, 6 Short-billed Dowitchers, 3 White-rumped Sandpipers and 20 Semi Sands in the general area (though not with the stilts).
