Early this morning a Ruddy Turnstone was camped out on a log in the middle
of the Potomac at the Violettes Lock rapids.

Opposite mile post 28 on the C+O canal (3/4 mile upstream from Sycamore
Landing), a plowed up section of the turf had a White-rumped Sandpiper, two
Sanderlings, and 20 Semi Sandpipers in several groups.
