Hi all,

  I want to post this warning to my fellow birders/hikers who may park at the National Wildlife Visitors' Center in Laurel, Maryland.  On June 2nd, I was there setting up my artwork, and while I was in the building-car locked-
someone got into my car.  The thieves took my 35mm SLR with a telephoto conversion lens, and ransacked my
purse ( yep I left it-duh!)-my soc. card, credit card, driver's license, atm card, checks and receipts.

Please be aware of your surroundings, and parking area.  This is a $1,000+ loss for me. I don't want
it to happen to anyone else.
