Ed and MDOsprey:

I recently have had identical messages indicating a failure to send
my messages to people with verizon.net addresses -- including Norm. I
am also a yahoo.com mail user.

I believe that the Verizon incoming e-mail system has put a stop to
all mail with a certain IP address, which turns out to be that of the
mail send server at Yahoo.com. Verizon maintains that spam has been
sent from this address.

I tried sending a request to "stop the stop," (a facility that
Verizon provides) but that apparently didn't work, because I still
can't send any mail to someone @
