Hello Brody's:

I enjoyed reading your report on Hughes Hollow; I was out there about 1 1/2 hours before your arrival and saw most of the species you mentioned. I have several ???s about others. First of all can you give more details on exactly where you saw the Blue Grosbeak: was it a male or female; did you walk out very far past the impoundments??? Secondly, can you give more details about the Fox Sparrow; in mid-summer this is a reportable bird; exactly where you saw it, was it vocalizing, etc. ???

My 3rd question while I am posting this is if you (Doris) remember details as to location of where you observed PRobable breeding bird atlas status on a Summer Tanager that you reported for the atlas in your block. I was thinking of trying to find this species in Montgomery County on Wednesday since I have not yet seen it yet in Montgomery County and was wondering if it was observed along the C & O Canal Towpath or where? I was going to contact you offline but since I read your post I figured that I would kill two birds with one stone. Any details on the above questions would be much appreciated and I am sure others would be interested as well.
