For two mornings a Louisiana Waterthrush has appeared on my second-story
back deck. Around 6 AM it appears, chips a few times and walks (tail
bobbing) between the bird bath and the mealworm feeder.
The nearest stream is 250-300 feet away across grass and scrub, so I am not
exactly certain why this bird is visiting. Perhaps it is requesting equal
access to the mealworms...
