My first ever trip to the MD coast today, didn't spend all day birding but had
some nice birds, and being my first trip to the shore, added about 18 birds to
my paltry MD list. Highlights:
 
3+ Wilson's Storm Petrels Ocean City Inlet - mid morning
1 Marbled Godwit - Skimmer Island at midday
1 Sandwich Tern - Skimmer Island at midday
also a sleeping merganser - likely Red-breasted
 
also saw the Roseate Spoonbill by the Catch 54 restaurant at Fenwick Island, DE.
