Hi Everyone,

I was going to try for this YHBL this evening, but have spoken to folks who
were there throughout the morning and the bird was a no show. Hopefully it
will return.

Mark - Congrats on 400, an amazing number for MD!

Regards,

Yellow-headed Blackbird pics follow (eight in all). Many thanks to Brian
Eyler for bringing this bird to our attention!! Deer biologist turned
birder!!

Three times the bird was on the gravel with scattered sunflower just to the
east of the gravel road to the shop area (in front/south of the mobile bear
traps). Park at the office and look for the concentration of doves, house
finches, etc to the east. Was a bit skittish, so keep your distance. Once it
was on the edge of the pond in the cattails with a red-wing, and it was in
some of the large trees. Called a fair amount.

Good luck,
