On Wednesday evening at 7:45 PM a group of 35+ Common Nighthawks was seen at Cromwell Valley Park in Baltimore County.  These birds were flying a little too  high for us to hear their calls as they passed overhead.  Evenings in late summer can be delightful when the buzz-like "peent" calls of these night flyers are heard !
