We also have been doing evening Nighthawk watches from our deck (with wine
in hand, of course!) -- one on Monday evening, two last night -- all almost
exactly at 7:45 and all flying purposefully north to south, not foraging,
Last night we also had about 100 Robins, a few Blue Jays and Grackles, and
perhaps a half-dozen Swifts passing over The robins were flying low and were
very vocal, perhaps a roost near-by?
