I don't have a "maintenance yard" here, but nonetheless my backyard was
kinda busy this AM. Had a CANADA WARBLER in my honeysuckle and another
YELLOW-THROATED VIREO singing in the yard next door. We spotted a BLUE-GRAY
GNATCATCHER in the oak back there.
Just now a CAROLINA WREN was hopping around just outside the window to
my right. Just for fun I hit the Thayer program and played it's song. It
reacted by climbing up a milkweed and peering in here at me. Luckily there
is a screen between us. Otherwise he mighta come in here and used my nose
for a punching bag.
