I've been really busy these days, what our new baby girl keeping Dad
very happy and very binocular-less. But, I do strive to help find
some great birds, for all to enjoy, as often as possible.

And since I know that I will be exceptionally busy over the next few
weeks (hah! more like years), I thought I'd work this bird-finding
thing from a slightly different angle.

In honor of local Ospreyers Mr. Bystrak, Mr. Poet (and all the other
Danny's on the listserv), the National Weather Service and NOAA have
named the next storm forming in Atlantic after us. If all goes well,
Hurricane Danny will do absolutely no damage. Instead, this tropical
storm will flood the skies of Maryland with a splendid array of
magnificent county, state and life birds!

Please note: I'm lobbying to get another one of these storms named
'Hurricane Jim Green' for early October, as I would like to chase
something like... let's go with a... a... Fork-tailed Flycatcher.

Good Birding,
