Anybody out there with expertise on western sparrows?  While on Mt. Ord 
northwest of Phoenix in June, I photo'd two birds, I believe to be 
Spizellas.  However, I think they may be juveniles.  I've shared the 
pictures with HowCo Sparrow Queen, and she thinks the backs are too 
variegated to be Chipping Sparrow, which is what I was leaning towards. 
There are golden tones in the back feathers that would seem to rule out 
Brewer's, which I don't think should be there at that time of year any way.
