Central Sod Farm In Queen Annes County sure is full of Nice birds this year in addition to the 2 Red - necked Phalaropes mentioned by Elaine Hendricks when I went back at 6:45 ish till 7:30 Pm there was a Spotted Sandpiper in the grass ditch in the plowed field and 1 Black Bellied plover still in breeding plumage . The heavy rains this morning and afternoon refilled the nearly dried out rain pools and produced a great fallout of shorebirds no whimbrel could be found though but it was presant at 4:30 Pm yesterday were Les Roslund spotted it early that day .
Happy weekend Birding
