Two Red Necked Phalaropes were again seen at the Sod Farms on John Brown
Road in Queen Anne's County. They were not near any of the puddles. They
were walking thru the grass in the unmowed section (not the plowed area)
just beyond the irrigation pipe in the back of the field ... just to the
left of the big open green area. There are 2 yellow no trespassing or no
hunting signs on the trees just behind where they were. They were difficult
to find but every now and then a head would poke up or they would walk more
into the open. Lots of birders present to help find the birds.
I did not see them but 2 Black bellied Plovers were seen in the plowed field
and a Snipe was seen where the Pharalopes were.
