Hi Everyone,

I had the chance to make a few stops in Allegany and Garrett Counties yesterday (8/28). Highlights were as follows:

North Branch/PPG Ponds, Allegany Co.

BAIRD'S SANDPIPER--3
Blue-winged Teal--1
Wood Duck--7
Killdeer--56
Semipalmated Plover--2
Greater Yellowlegs--1
Lesser Yellowlegs--3
Pectoral Sandpiper--5
Semipalmated Sandpiper--5
Least Sandpiper--16
Spotted Sandpiper--1
Solitary Sandpiper--3

Youghiogheny Reservoir--Old Morgantown Road, Garrett Co.

WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER--1
BAIRD'S SANDPIPER--2
WESTERN SANDPIPER--1
Wood Duck--13
Killdeer--41
Semi-Plover--2
Least Sandpiper--28
Semi-Sandpiper--17
Spotted Sandpiper--1
Solitary Sandpiper--4
Osprey--1
Belted Kingfisher--2
Red-bellied Woodpecker--2
Yellow-throated Vireo--1
Bobolink--3 migrants

Also checked Rocky Gap, Piney Reservoir, Little Meadows, and Dorsey Hotel Road with little to report. Multiple kingfishers at each water stop seemed noteworthy.

Good birding!
