Hi Everyone,

The following is posted on behalf of Brad Lanning. I'm 99% sure the location reference to Sycamore indicates Summit Hall Turf Farm, upstream from Sycamore Landing in Montgomery County. I'm traveling at the moment and don't have a chance to double-check before posting. Brad, let me know if that is inaccurate, and I can follow-up tonight.

"...I wanted to let you know that I stopped by the turf farm upstream of Sycamore on my way home from work yesterday evening. Upon arriving, I noted just lots of Killdeer but then after lots of looking I finally found about a dozen Least and 1 semi-plover. Then, as I was getting ready to leave, just before the storm hit, I noticed 3 Goldens flying in ahead of the storm. After much circling and some calling, they finally set down fairly close. After a few minutes, 2 more came flying in making the total that I could see at one time 5, new high count for me! Also, I noted 3 Sandpipers flying around towards the back that looked good for Baird's but too distant to be sure. They were larger with longer wings and a scaly appearance. I ruled out White-rumped after seeing their tails. The plovers were a real treat! ...

Brad"

Good birding!
