This evening at Truxton Park in Annapolis I went looking for migrants.
There were many many empidonax spp. flycatchers here that had just arrived.
I saw at least one Least Flycatcher. I got good looks, up close, and in
good light enough to push me to be confident in this identification. I saw
also an American Redstart (beautiful AHY male), a Northern Parula, and a
Blue-Winged Warbler. Hoping that the cooler weather on the way brings lots
of migrants.
Good Birding,
Chris Murray
