This year I plan on spending a few days at Federal Hill Park overlooking Baltimore's Inner Harbor in order to see if large numbers of Broad-winged hawks pass over the down-town area.  I believe that many Broad-wings fly just east of the Cromwell Valley Park HawkWatch and hug the Chesapeake coastline, which would bring them somewhere very near the Inner Harbor vicinity.  The view from Federal Hill is quite good to the north, west and east, and with a little luck I hope to see where these birds pass over Baltimore City.
