Hi Folks,
I did an afternoon walk at Swan Creek (N. AA Co.) yesterday afternoon with the highlight being a WHIMBREL on the beach. I took some digiscopes and a little video. This was a county bird as I had missed this bird at Mayo Beach last year. Also seen during the outing was my first of season SWAINSON'S THRUSH in the same tree as a Yellow-billed Cuckoo. After the wind had subsided late in the afternoon the north dredge impoundment had 44 peeps, but too distant to identify.
