Mark Scarff reports that he and Ronnie Moser observed a small hawk flight over Manchester, Carroll Co. on Sept. 10. They saw 1 Osprey, 7 Sharp-shinned Hawks, 78 Broad-winged Hawks, 3 Kestrels, and 2 unidentified raptors in the afternoon with N to NE winds. Visitors are welcome to do hawkwatching from Mark's yard at 3329 Maple Grove Road, just east of Route 30. Park in the driveway.
