On Sunday, September 20th, Chris Murray is birding Davidsonville Park
intensely. And someone has already chosen to cover the AA portion of
Jug Bay that same day. Me? I'm going to bird the Annapolis area,
hitting as many place between Sandy Point and Thomas Point as
possible. Since the wife gave me permission, I'm considering making
it an Anne Arundel County Big Day.

But the question is...

Where will you bird?

I would ask you to consider Anne Arundel County. On Sunday, September
20th, the Anne Arundel County portion of the fall bird count will take
place.
For more about the event, visit the AA Bird Club website
(www.aabirdclub.org) or

Anne Arundel Birding's facebook page:

Visit often, share photos and videos, tell stories, join the group,
report your sightings, start a conversation, and find out about
upcoming AA Bird Club events.
Please Note: it's not an official AA bird club site, just something
very, very closely related to a common interest.

If you think you can lend your birding time and energy to AA County on
the 20th, email David Gillum at dagmapper<at>verizon.net.

I'm sure I'm missing more than a few hot spots, but consider these
possibilities:

Mayo Beach Park
Piney Orchard Preserve
Wooten's Landing
Greenbury Point
Truxtun Park
Quiet Waters Park
Kinder Park
Dent Road
Patuxent Ponds Park
Fort Smallwood Park
Severn Run
Weinburg Park
SERC
BWI Airport Rail Station
The Naval Academy Dairy Farm
Downs Park
Bacon Ridge Branch
Waterworks Park
Thomas Point SP
Sandy Point SP

Good Birding,
