Between 10:30 and noon, along the fence line, I (along with Mike and
Alissa) saw the following warblers:
Golden-winged (female)
Worm-eating
Tennessee (first winter)
Canada (first winter) 2-3
Chestnut-sided
Black and White (female)
Black-throated Blue (female)
Magnolia 3-4
Hooded (male)
Nashville 2-3
Yellowthroat (male)
Redstart (male)
Ovenbird 2-3
Activity was fairly continuous in the woods all the way down the gully.
These birds were seen repeatedly and (thanks to Mike and Alissa), in the case
of the Golden-winged, looked up in Sibley, to confirm our good fortune.
In addition, Mike and Alissa saw a Rose-breasted Grosbeak; I saw Wood
Thrush (several). Swainson's Thrush (2-3) and a Veery; and we all saw lots of RE
Vireos, Towhees and the usual suspects.
Picked up EW Pewee and RT Hummingbird at the Maintenance yard - otherwise
very quiet.
