I ran into one nice bunch of migrants at the National Arboretum this morning that included a bright male Golden-winged Warbler, American Redstart, Nashville, Magnolia, Northern Parula, Chestnut-sided, Black-Throated Green, plus Rose-Breasted Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager, and hummingbird. All these were on the azalea hillside adjacent to the big meadow with the columns. Later, near the parking for the columns, I saw a female blue grosbeak. Elsewhere, it was pretty quiet.

At Kenilworth Park, there were two Kestrels; at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens, there was a Cooper's Hawk and three Red-Shouldered hawks, but I didn't see any Broad-wings overhead when I was there. The Cooper's scared up a bunch of killdeer and peeps from a part of the mudflats not visible from the the end of the boardwalk.
