Hi --

En route to errands we stopped for a couple of hours at Brookside Gardens
and Wheaton Regional Park -- again, quite a nice diurnal migration with
flocks of Robins, Jays and Flickers flying overhead early. Again, relatively
few neotropicals but we did have a flock with chickadees in Brookside
itself.

Another birder reported about a dozen Broadwings flying over in a small
kettle -- we had seen 1-2 earlier.

Birds of interest:

Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 5 (this could be great place to look for a rarer
hummer later on -- lots of good HB flowers.)
YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER - 1 (same one as before, in exactly the same
spot!)
"Traill's" Flycatcher- 1 (very olive and bright, probably Alder)
Yellow-throated Vireo - 1 (heard only)
Red-eyed Vireo - 8
Black-and-White Warbler - 3
Black-throated Blue Warbler - 1 (first of season)
Magnolia Warbler - 5
Nashville Warbler - 1
Northern Parula - 1
TENNESSEE WARBLER - 2, (one juvie & one adult)
Common Yellowthroat - 3
Swainson's Thrush - 1
Brown Thrasher - 1
House Wren - 3
& many many many Catbirds!!
