The OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER was posing on the top of the large dead tree adjacent to the Willow Farm barn at 8:15 this morning. (Thanks Tim!) We got good scope views and heard it calling for beer. It was not there when we left several hours later.

We did not have much luck otherwise. A BLUE-HEADED VIREO was a fall first. Other migrants included a WHITE-EYED VIREO, several RED-EYED VIREOS, a few each of BLACK-AND-WHITE and MAGNOLIA WARBLERS, one NORTHERN PARULA, and the usual half dozen or so COMMON YELLOWTHROATS. We heard a ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK chipping several times, and finally saw a young male with a pale pink chest.
