Hi Everyone,

I learned yesterday that Hans Holbrook had collected his 5,000th Maryland county bird sighting - a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher in P.G. County. Please join me in congratulating him on this worthy achievement!

Hans joins the four existing members of the notorious 5,000 Club: Jim Stasz (sole member of the incomprehensible 6,000 Club), Bob Ringler, Marshall Iliff, and Matt Hafner. I know that John Hubbell, Stan Arnold, and I were all hoping that married life and a busy year would keep Hans distracted long enough for us to sneak past, but no such luck!  

Congratulations, Hans, on an awesome accomplishment!
