Hi all,

?A quick tour of the yard this morning, but not much moving. Best bird was a single flyover RED-HEADED WOODPECKER. right over the yard and heading NNW. Not the first I've seen here but always a nice yard bird. I did see a small mixed flock of warblers in the woods-edge behind my neighbors yard, but the low bright sun made for difficult viewing. Best I could pick out was a Black-throated Green and a Magnolia Warbler, but there were at least 2 other species, which got away. One I suspect was a Blackpoll. Also E. Phoebe, 2 empid flycatchers (one looked good for Least based on size alone, chasing the other larger empid), but did not get good enough loooks to call either, as they were moving through the trees pretty fast.

Also my first of the season Ruby-crowned Kinglet and a heard only Rose-breasted Grosbeak in the neighbor's woods, N. Flickers, Downy and Red-bellied WP, Blue Jay, RT Hummers (still at feeders), and a pair of baby Gray Squirrels peeking out from my Screech Owl box!
