Sent on behalf of Bryan MacKay:
Friday dusk in downtown Catonsville. The main street, the heart of town,
is filled with people going about their business. And all of them are
oblivious to a couple hundred chimney swifts swirling and calling
overhead. I stop to watch. People probably think I'm crazy, looking up
in the air, and they probably think I'm next; the police are arresting a
crazy homeless guy just down the street. Pretty soon the swifts start
entering the chimney of Plymouth Wallpaper, in the heart of town, one
block east of the firehouse. Quite a show! 7:25 pm Friday September 18.
In a few minutes it's over, and I head home.
