Rock Creek Park, Friday 9/25

This morning (9/25) at Rock Creek Park....  Initially the rain kept  
the birds down, but as the rain lifted somewhat Bill Butler and I  
began seeing flocks of robins, flickers, cardinals and chickadees, and  
some warbler species.  In addition we saw our first PALM WARBLER  
(yellow) as well as BLUE-HEADED and WHITE-EYED VIREOS.
