Cromwell was cookin' this morning, but it didn't serve up any mournings or conns, not to me or the other birders I ran into. But the activity was good. Fun when a Cooper's swooped down over me and landed fairly low in a nearby tree. Also, a belligerant walnut tree (one of several) nearly nailed me. I ran into Kevin G., and he and the group he was with were seeing a lot.

Some birds: Swainson's Thrush, Wood Thrush, Brown Thrasher. Many Peewee and Phoebe.

Warblers:

Nashville (several)
PALM (several)
Parula (several)
Magnolia (many)
Chestnut-Sided (quite a few)
Black-and-White (many)
Redstart (half dozen)
Pine (1)
Black-Throated Blue (several)
Black-Throated Green (2)
Ovenbird (1)
C. Yellowthroat (many)
[Bay-B or Blackpoll] (1)
