While walking the dog at Buddy Attick Park this morning, I stumbled upon a
mini-migrant fallout, mostly in the trees along the western edge of the
playground. The birds that I managed to identify included the following:
YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER - 1 (well-seen, briefly)
Eastern Phoebe - 4 or 5
White-eyed Vireo - 1 (heard only)
Red-eyed Vireo - 1
Cedar Waxwing - 20
Northern Parula - 2 (singing weakly)
Chestnut-sided Warbler - 1 (species #131 for my lake list)
Black-throated Green Warbler - 1
Black-and-White Warbler - 1

The day is off to a good start.
