Hello Maryland Birders,

This summer, 6 volunteers and Audubon staff conducted 11 Bird Blitz surveys
in the complex of grasslands along the Allegany and Garrett County line in
western Maryland. The results of these surveys indicate the significance of
this area to grassland and shrubland birds that are vulnerable at both state
