The Buff-breasted and White-rumped Sandpipers were still at Swan Creek this morning from 8:00 till I left at 9:10 a.m. Thanks to Stan Arnold for finding these birds.

The Buff-breasted was in the South Cell with killdeer as described by Bill Hubick. There is a ditch the shape of a large "T" in the South Cell. The Buff-breasted was on the right side of the "T" and close to the road. I saw an unusual feeding pattern as it stretched its neck up to feed in a small bush that was about twice as tall as it. It then continued to feed on the ground.

The White-rumped was in the North Cell with a flock of 14 Least Sandpipers and easily picked out of the flock.

5 Blue-winged Teal were also present.

A special note for one of the workers at Swan Creek were 2 Wood Ducks. His son as part of a Eagle Scout project put up Wood Duck boxes and he hadn't seen Wood Ducks. They are there. If you build it, they will come.

My complete list is below.
