A friend of mine would like to kayak / canoe around the Nanjemoy River
area this weekend.  Anyone have any suggestions as to the best
locations to put in, best spots to visit?  Thanks.

In others news:  Very early this morning, I had a TRICOLOR HERON at
Swan Creek this morning mingling with a Great Blue and two Little Blue
Herons.  No Buff-breasted made it into my scope, although the
White-rumped Sandpiper was still present.  A first year Peregrine
hunted over the impoundments.  Not finding much to scare up, the
falcon quickly sailed over the wetland area.    Two Kestrels were in
the area as well.
