I spent a couple hours walking around Pickering Creek this afternoon.
A flock of grosbeaks, buntings, and sparrows by the small pond held
most of the birds. The flock was working between the sorghum field
and the backside of the pond. Highlights include:
House Wren -- 4
Lincoln's Sparrow -- 1 (thanks Rob O.)
Whitethroated Sparrow -- 2
Nashville Warbler -- 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler -- 1 (female)
Common Yellowthroat -- 4
Blue Grosbeaks -- 12
Indigo Buntings -- 16
Lesser Yellowlegs -- 1
Great Egret -- 1
