I led a pleasant, but quiet, bird walk at Soldier's Delight this morning. Six birders j oined me and we tallied 37 bird species with best bird day, a Gray-c heeked Thrush, escaping before the group could find it . Other highlights include: hearing a Pine Warbler, seeing a Northern Parula, a Brown Thrasher and a Dark-eyed Junco.
