Greetings,
After an amazing morning in Rock Creek I thought I'd stop by after
work and see what might be stirring. I was there from 5pm - 6:15pm.
Had what I believe are two FOS for Rock Creek, DC - a Chipping Sparrow
at the Maintenance Yard parking lot and a Golden-crowned Kinglet in
the trees next to the road at the equitation field. Nice close looks
at both. Migration soldiers on.
And many of the suspects from this morning - still lots of Black-
throated Greens everywhere, good numbers of B&W, a couple Parulas and
easily 20 Phoebes in the stretch between the equitation field and the
Yard Parking Lot.
Cheers,
Steve Hersey
