Queen Annes County and Caroline County Birds 10 - 9 and 10 - 10

 Hi all  I had Fri off  so I tried my hand at birding in Terrapin Park on Kent Island In Queen Annes County  Not a  lot around Except mostly Blue Jays , Robins And  Waxwings  
 Other Highlights 


Canada Geese 
DC Cormorant     6
Great Egret      1
Osprey      1
Rock Pigeon     20
Red Bellied Woodpecker  2
Northern Flicker      3
Carolina Chickadee   2
Tufted Titmouse    5
Tree Swallow   5
Blue Jay     12
Carolina Wren   4
Coopers Hawk     1
Robins        many 
Mockingbird     2
Catbird      2
Cedar Waxwing      15
Yellow Rumped Warbler    1  first  of the season  for me 
Cardinal    2
Blue Grosbeak     1
Indigo Bunting      1
Red winged Blackbird       5


Then On the way Home I made  a quick mid day  stop at the Chesapeake Bay Eivronmental Center in Grasonville   were the birds were slim pickings as well

Pied Billed Grebe     1 first of the season   Located   in Lake Knapp
Great Egret   2
Great Blue Heron    1
Catbird     2
Carolina wren  2


This Morning   10 - 10  I made  a stop at Tuckahoe State  Park in Caroline County  where I worked hard to find  

Canada Geese   50 
Wood Duck    7
Belted Kingfisher    1 heard only 
Red Bellied Woodpecker    2
Flicker    2
Eastern Phoebe    1
Red eyed Vireo     1
Carolina Chickadee     3
Tufted Titmouse       4
Ruby Crowned Kinglet  3  first of the season in Maryland 
warbler species   1 most likely a yellow Rump but did not have a good look
