I might not get too excited about Ringed Teal, (Callonetta leucophrys as 
Gwen would identify the duck since she did some of her PhD work on this 
species in Argentina) locally since they are a central South American 
waterfowl.   Post breeding dispersal might be as far north as central 
Brazil.  Likely these birds could be from a collection, and escapees or 
released.  I don't know if there are any accepted North American records for 
Ringed Teal.  I would pass that question along to Phil Davis.  Besides these 
birds are in Delaware.
