An excellent morning (10/11) at Rock Creek Park....  We felt the full  
impact of the fall migration this morning.  Huge numbers of PALM  
WARBLERS and CHIPPING SPARROWS were seen.  Best bird of the day was a  
LINCOLN"S Sparrow. Other noteworthy birds:  PHILADELPHIA VIREO, BLUE- 
HEADED VIREO, PURPLE FINCH, HERMIT THRUSH, and FIELD, WHITE-CROWNED  
and SWAMP SPARROWS.
