Some birders from West Virginia saw a strong candidate for the
Connecticut Warbler being chased away by a Winter Wren before I arrived,
but we were unable to relocate the bird. When I left around 1:30 PM, the
warbler had not been seen to my knowledge. Two FOS Rusty Blackbirds and
a Swamp Sparrow provided some consolation. Yellow-rumped Warblers were
abundant.
Good birding!
