This morning at Sandy Point State Park, the BRANT and 3 BLACK-BELLIED
PLOVERS were still present in a grassy area at the north end of the park
(visible from the parking lot by the boat launch). I also got a quick look
at a mixed flock of shorebirds, on the beach at the north end, which
contained both Sanderlings and Dunlin. And I managed to find 2 Bonaparte's
Gulls and 4 or 5 Caspian Terns mixed in with the thousands of gulls.
Conditions were miserable, but the birding was great!
