Chris Murray and I also birded Sandy Point in the afternoon rain.

BB Plover count up to 6.
Sanderling count down to 1.
Dunlin count up to 11.
Brant count the same... 1.

We decided to forgo an extended search in the three large gull flocks
for the Bonies.

But later on Lake Ogleton in Bay Ridge we noted 6 Royal Terns with one
Caspian and several gulls on a dock.

Lastly, Chris picked out a very interesting gull (possibly Franklins?)
at Hillsmere Beach standing in between two laughers. A security guard
was parked in the lot and we decided, now soaked thoroughly, to call
it a day.

Good Birding,
