Paul and I were at Winans Meadows on Sunday; our first visit there since October 3.  As on October 3, there was a Merlin perched on one of the tall snags - this time near the parking lot.   We got a big fall dose of White-throated Sparrows, Ruby-crowned Kinglets and Yellow-rumped Warblers; also saw a few Juncos, Chipping and Field Sparrows, a Winter Wren and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker; among other birds.
